Chi-Town, Union Station in Commerce
Chi-Town Union Station holds the record for the world's longest model train. We saw an engine pulling over 200 cars. Paul Gribbell, the creator of this marvelous display, has them up and running in a mock-up of Chicago from the days when railroads where the kings of transportation. Docents are on-hand to explain the history and the makings of the museum. Doesn't this make for great inspiration about what to put under your Christmas tree. The museum is open daily except Sunday.
