Great Lakes Sports City Arena with its five ice rinks in Fraser is home to our Michigan Sled Dogs where they played in the Tournament January 8-9. The teams consists of male and female athletes with various disabilities such as spinal cord, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, amputees, etc. Players' ages range from 8 to their mid-forties. Competing against the Pittsburgh Mighty Penguins here, they are exciting to watch! Of the 4 games they played, the Sled Dogs won 3 and tied 1.
