Maybury State Park in Northville

No flashlights were needed on this glorious moonlight hike through Maybury State Park last night.  We were leaping and jumping in the moon shadows on an invigorating five mile hike led by Metro Detroit Outdoor and Hiking advocate, Phil. Our guide taught us many interesting historical facts about the area which used to be a tuberculosis sanitorium. Today the park has almost 1000 acres and is used for horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, cross country skiing, etc. It's a great place to enjoy the beauty and majesty of nature, night or day.
