Historic Hope Chapel in Shelby Township

Tucked away in Shelby Township is the 1890 Hope Chapel. It was formerly the Hope United Methodist Church of Disco located at Van Dyke and 24 Mile Rd. Disco no longer exists. The church was restored and moved just a little bit south to the municipal grounds by the Shelby Township Historical Society and is now frequently used for weddings.
