M is for Mitten and Michael G Monroe

We love Michael G Monroe and the book he illustrated M is for Mitten: A Michigan Alphabet. We have our visitors from out-of-state read the book to familiarize themselves with the beauty and bounty around us. We often make them memorize it! It is a tome that belongs in every Michigan family's home.  You can guess what a lot of the letters are already. Michael has been chosen as Michigan's Wildlife Artist of the Year.
