We had such a memorable luncheon at the
Royal Eagle within the grounds of the St Sabbas Monastery in Harper Woods. The Russian borscht was outstanding! The various tea sandwiches were fresh and wonderful. The third course consisted of very delicious chicken on skewers with a green salad and homemade dressing. Even the desserts were incredible with napoleons made on the premises and chocolate fudge cakes with fresh cream. The ambiance and the food made us pleasantly feel as if we were transported to a different time and era.
