Grand Trunk Pub
This building, dating back to the 1800's, used to be the ticket office for the Grand Trunk Railroad in Detroit. For years it was called Foran's Irish Pub. Now it has reverted back to the GT: Grand Trunk Pub with the original hardwood floors and 25 foot vaulted ceilings. Very cool place with locally brewed beers on tap and yes, they serve Vernor's (Michigan accounts for 80% of its sales) and Faygo pop (HQ still in Detroit)! We thought their pear cider was wonderful, too. It's located on Woodward, near Campus Martius.
