Auburn Hills Public Library
We love it when architects blend the old with the new as in the Auburn Hills Public Library. They took a 19th century home and renovated into a great library and added newer sections to accommodate their materials and patrons and in so doing they won an A/A award. They have about 100,000 visitors a year --not bad for a community of only 20,000. They offer "Book Bingo" at the library and guess what the prizes are? Books!
