Stormy Kromer hats: Made in the UP
Hats made by Stormy Kromer have been gracing our state and beyond since 1903. They are a UP legend, begun by George "Stormy" Kromer who used to be a semi-pro baseball player and a railroad engineer. You can get a free factory tour in Ironwood at 1:30pm Monday-Friday. They are hand-stitched and made to fit. They are famous for their wool caps but sell a variety of other merchandise for both men and women including bags, outerwear, shirts, pants and accessories. Thanks for modeling, Monty (he claims plaid is the official color of the UP).
