The Michigan Central Depot used to be the tallest railroad station in the world when it was built in 1913. Today it stands vacant and ravaged on Michigan Avenue and Vernor Hwy near Mexican town. The last train pulled out more than 20 years ago. It is one of the most haunting examples of urban decay and neglect.
