The Blue Water Bridge is a major international crossing over the St. Clair River and the southern end of Lake Huron . The bridge connects our Port Huron with Sarnia on the Canadian side. The westbound cantilever truss bridge opened in 1938 and the east bound arch bridge just opened in 1997. In 1938 almost 61,000 vehicles crossed the bridge --which equals about 5 days worth of traffic today! Remember your passport. To check border crossing wait times click here.
