We appreciate museums housed in historic buildings. The Port Huron Museum of Arts and History is located in the beautiful Carnegie Library which dates back to 1904--a lovely piece of architecture. The result of a huge community effort, this museum itself dates back to 1967. It showcases the arts, natural history and Great Lakes memorabilia. They also offer exhibitions and programs about local history.
