Royal Oak's Vinotecca

There is a great wine bar in Royal Oak called Vinotecca. We took advantage of their Happy Hour half off glasses of wine and half off appetizers today and totally indulged. It was grape heaven for us.  The seared ahi tuna melts in your mouth and we also enjoyed the onion tart. The pièce de résistance, however, has to be their wonderful selections of wine.  They are even showcasing one from the Basque region of Spain called Txakolina (pronounced cha ko LEE na) with nice apple overtones. They are open everyday at 4pm and happy hour is everyday from 4-6 and Thursday nights from 9 to close. Hementxe! {That's cheers in basque ;}
