Voilà Boutique in Grosse Pointe Farms
Oo la la! There is a trendy new boutique in Grosse Pointe Farms run by two charming, chatty little French ladies, Carol and Pascale. Voilà Boutique is a cute little shop on Mack filled with unique clothes, bibelots, accessories and decorative bric-à-brac. With an eye for flair and joie de vivre, branches act as racks for their hanging items. Magnifique!

The Tribute Tree in Grosse Pointe Farms
The Tribute Tree is part of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial in Grosse Pointe Farms. Anyone can purchase a light in someone's honor or memory for $10. The honoree is then sent notification and a photo of the tree. They say the gift of light is a gift of love. The War Memorial is a state and national historical site and serves as a center of enrichment to honor our veterans. It used to be the home of the Alger family, built in 1910.

Dirty Dog Jazz Café
On the Kercheval strip in Gross Pointe Farms is a fine little restaurant that serves some tantalizing vittles and Wed-Saturday showcases live music. The name is deceiving, because it is not a laid back, beer-and-a-shot bar, but a classy dining facility that even serves up foie gras. Their prix fixe menu consists of a house salad and then choice of 7 entrées and a dessert for $35. They also have a wide assortment of those delicious little tapas.
