Beaver Island in Lake Michigan has two lighthouses. This one, on the north end of the island is called Whiskey Point. Built in 1870, it is located at St James Harbor and you get a good view of it coming in on the ferry. We featured the Beaver Head Lighthouse before with its attached keeper house. Whiskey Pt's keeper house no longer exists. You can see the lighthouse up close, but it is locked and we were unable to enter.
