You just never know who you are going to meet at a garage sale. In this case, it was
Doug West, Michigan's Upside Down Artist who just happened to have this intricate masterpiece hanging on a wall near the cars in his Rochester Hills home. What a conversation piece. He likes to paint with the images upside down to help him see details more clearly. Doug entered this painting in
Grand Rapid's Art Prize and the funny thing is--we took a photo of this very painting in the Bob last year. If you click
