The skyway at Somerset Mall in Troy stretches over eight lanes of Big Beaver Road's divided highway. It makes it a unique paradise for walkers and shoppers who easily traverse the traffic with no worries. It connects the north side (anchors Macy's and Nordstrom's) with the southside (anchors Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue). More than 180 stores are represented at Somerset. Their Mall Walker Program offers complimentary coffee with doors open at 7am. If you walk around every level on both sides and pass through the skyway, you have done more than a mile and a half.
