St James in Birmingham
The carillon tower of St James Episcopal Church in Birmingham has been doling out tunes since 1965. This worship facility on West Maple in the downtown area thrives amongst all the shops and restaurants and has been a presence here for some 120 years. The St James choir is putting on a Bach concert on Sunday, April 29th at 4pm. Birmingham offers free parking on Sundays, which makes it easy to attend either their 8 am or 10am service and the concert, too.
