Monica was helping out at Fall Family Days which was taking place at the
Thumb Octagon Barn Agricultural Museum when she was offered the chance to learn how to spin wool. She caught on quickly and became a demonstrator! Right outside the barn were a couple a beautiful alpacas from a local farm. We purchased a pair of socks made from the wool. They are supposed to keep your feet especially warm. There are numerous
alpaca farms to visit in Michigan. Go get your own pair of socks or maybe a scarf, a hat or a sweater.
