Clarkston Union Bar and Kitchen
It looks like a church, but it is not. It is the Clarkston Union Bar and Kitchen down the street from the Clarkston Woodshop, Michigan's 2011 restaurant of the year. They are affiliated--as they have the same owners--but with different chefs. It's noisy inside due to its high ceiling, but in the summertime, you can grab a quiet table outside. It is quite interesting that this building, which dates back to the 1840's and began as the First Baptist Church, was preserved and refitted for a new use. The food is excellent.
