Utica Ice Carving
The City of Utica picked the perfect weekend to hold their ice festival when for weeks now, area communities have had to cancel theirs due to warm temps. Blue skies and frigid temperatures greeted festival goers at Utica's newly opened Memorial Park adjacent to the river, the focal point for the ice carving competition. In addition, music, food and horse carriage rides and a used book sale at the public library insure fun for everyone. Today is the last day.
