Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center in Shelby

Truly, one of our best recent finds has been the Burgess-Shadbush Nature Center with its boardwalk of trails leading through some pristine marshes in Shelby Township. If you want to learn about animal footprints, they have the molds and the sandbox in which you can stamp them out! Then you can hunt those tracks on the trails behind the nature center. It's about a 2 mile hike out to the river and back. The staff is very eager to help.
