All Saints Episcopal in Pontiac
It was an enjoyable experience today sitting in the pews of All Saints Episcopal Church in Pontiac as they celebrated their 175th anniversary. With pipe organ reverberating and trumpet blaring, parishioners belted out "Sing to the Lord with cheerful voice". The beautiful stained glass windows were done to look medieval by Connick Associates of Boston. Very active in the community, All Saints offers a farmer's market on Saturdays and an after school tutoring program with a hot dinner for kids. Organ recitals were scheduled for this afternoon and a walking tour of the church.
