Small Plates in Detroit
Having experienced tapas in Spain when Small Plates came to Detroit ten years ago we were thrilled. Just a short walk from Ford Field and Comerica Park, it seems to be perennially packed. And no wonder --with choices like brick oven pizza, croque monsieurs and huevos rancheros, duck empanadas, calamari peppernata, blackened lamb chops and fish tacos. To add to the excitement there is live music during their Sunday brunches and a bloody mary bar. For dessert would you choose, the bumpy cake or their crème brûlé or perhaps the triple chocolate cheesecake?
