Davison Freeway in Detroit
In Detroit, when people use or drive over the Davison Freeway, they ought to know that it was the world's first urban freeway open to the public. This feat took place 70 years ago, in 1942. This photo was taken by the driver while operating a motor vehicle on the Davison. Tsk Tsk.

I have a couple of pictures like that. There is a tone of interesting history behind Michigan's freeways.
