Ted Lindsay Foundation
Our beloved former Red Wing hockey player, Ted Lindsay, a.k.a. Terrible Ted, is oft seen around town. His Ted Lindsay Foundation, which began in 2001 and is headquartered in Troy, raises funds to help find a cure for autism. Kudos to this incredible hockey legend #7, who at 86 years old deserves to sit back and rest on his laurels, yet is out and about and has raised more than a million and a half dollars. Ted says, "Together, we can beat autism". At a recent gathering, Pavel Datsyuk (recovering from knee surgery) was there to join his efforts.
